Bundle Deal, Dual Circuit Master Cylinder, supplied with fitting kit, for Bus / Camper 55-67
OK, so you have been working for ages on making your split bus really nice. But have you given a thought to the braking system?
Pre '67 buses were only built with single circuit brakes, If you get one leaky pipe, you lose the whole of the braking system, not great when you want to
stop! That's why all later (and modern) vehicles have dual circuit; if you get a leak ... it's only on one half of the system.
This bundle contains all the bits, to convert to dual circuit on a 55-67 bus!
In our view, this is an essential safety (and performance) upgrade for all pre 1967 buses
Replaces the old single circuit set-up
Better braking performance
Essential upgrade for conversion to disc brakes
The new reservoir is positioned correctly for topping-up the fluid
No change to your brake pipes, simply transfer them over
