Bundle Deal, Rocker Covers, Bail Clips and Gaskets, 1300-1600cc
Have your Rocker Covers seen better days? Tired of the pesky oil leaks?
There is no need to have leaky rockers, so we put this bundle of items together so that you can cure the problem once and for all. Take off your old covers, give the machined mounting surface a good clean (spotless) then install these new Rocker Covers, Bail Clips and Elring gaskets. You don't need to use gasket sealant, high quality gaskets, covers and good strong bail clips is all that you need. This bundle includes all the components you will need, plus a spare set of gaskets for future servicing, high quality Elring of course. This bundle is suitable for 1300-1600cc T1 engines, in Beetle, Ghia, Bus and Type3. Plus 1200cc from '61 onwards. Please note: If you still get oil dripping from your rocker covers, then you may have excessive crankcase oil pressure. If that's the case, the oil will most definitely find a way past any week spot, including the front pulley wheel and the rocker covers. Fitting an additional oil breather often resolves that problem.
