Dropped Spindles, Drum Brake, Bug / Beetle / Karmann Ghia 66-, Pair

Dropped spindles are the quickest and easiest way to lower the front of your Beetle or Karmann Ghia. They replace the original front spindles, and drop the ride height by 2.5inches.

One of the major benefits is that you can keep using standard height front shock absorbers, and the vehicle retains full suspension travel ... hence ride quality is perfect.

Please note: This version of the spindles are to suit Drum brakes, for 1966 onward Beetle and Ghia. If you are fitting a German CSP disc conversion kit as well, to a 1966 onward car, then this is also the correct spindle for that application (as caliper brackets are supplied with your CSP disc kit). If you own a 66-67 model year vehicle, you will need to use 1968 onward wheel bearings (see item ref 313.100.30) and outer tie rod ends (see items reference 312.013.10 and 312.013.40).
